SAFETY TIPS

  • MEETING PLACE:
Be sure to set up a meeting place in case of a fire that is near the house, possibly across the road from the house, or the mailbox.
  • 911 CALLS:
Be sure that your children know their home address and phone number, as well as how to call 911 for emergencies.
  • FIRE PLAN:
Make a fire plan with the kids, set it up as a game and even have a fire drill.
  • STOVETOP:
Turn the handles of the pots and pans inward, so it's harder for kids to grab the handles
