Be sure to set up a meeting place in case of a fire that is near the house, possibly across the road from the house, or the mailbox.
  • 911 CALLS:
    Be sure that your children know their home address and phone number, as well as how to call 911 for emergencies.
    Make a fire plan with the kids, set it up as a game and even have a fire drill.
    Turn the handles of the pots and pans inward, so it's harder for kids to grab the handles


It is the policy of Chrisney Volunteer Fire Department to:

    The CVFD Chief or assigned officer shall exercise leadership in establishing, maintaining, and carrying out a positive, continuing program designed to promote equal opportunity in the CVFD's recruitment practices.



      Chrisney Volunteer Fire Department desires to maintain a discrimination free environment in our department.       Sexual Harassment

      CVFD prohibits sexual harassment. Sexual harassment is a violation of the law and interferes with the work productivity. Sexual harassment wrongfully deprives volunteers of the opportunity to work in an environment free from unsolicited and unwelcome sexual overtones.
